Energy of the Sun

This summer, we were lucky enough to shot short film about solar power station. The theme of alternative energy has became more and more attention worldwide during last years. The resources of our planet are exhausting, and various emissions into the atmosphere are driving global warming. The advantage of solar energy, also called |green”, is its environmental friendliness. Of course, the volumes of energy produced in this way can not yet be compared with the volumes of classical energy, but in fact, we should only better understand this technology, since the Sun itself is the largest and most inexhaustible field of energy.
It was very interesting to film such object, to walk between the solar plates, to meet sunrise there, to feel the atmosphere of this place. The objects are built in the Astrakhan region, as it is one of the most sunny regions of Russia. For three days we traveled around the area and were looking for the best places for sunrises. The nature here is a very specific, it is a burning sun, burnt naked steppe and electric landscapes with infinite power lines. We tried to transfer all this atmosphere and our impressions to this film, and it is perfectly accompanied with musical soundtrack written by Igor Cold wrote specifically for this project.
