Savion sells 30-MW Virginia solar project to Falck Renewables and Eni US

Savion announced it has reached a definitive agreement to sell the Westmoreland Solar Project in Westmoreland County, Virginia. Falck Renewables North America and Eni New Energy U.S., through Novis Renewables Holdings, a partnership with 51% and 49% shares respectively, signed an agreement with Savion to acquire the ready-to-build 30-MW_DC (20-MW_AC) project.

The solar facility planned for Westmoreland County is one of three Virginia projects developed by Savion, resulting in 115 MW of solar power and a total investment in excess of $150 million. In February, Savion announced it had signed a 20 MW_AC PPA with Dominion Energy Virginia for the Westmoreland County Solar Project. The Virginia State Corporation Commission approved the agreement as prudent in November 2019.
