Sunshine Solar to acquire utility-scale foundation company Terra Posts PV

Georgia-headquartered solar construction company Sunshine Solar has announced that its affiliate Bravo LLC will acquire Terra Posts PV, a utility-scale solar foundation installation company. Terra Posts PV owns and operates a fleet of 10 GAYK pile-driving machines and accompanying equipment and vehicles.

“Terra Posts PV is one of the leading solar foundation installation companies in the U.S. with a well-known reputation with some of the largest EPC, developers, and owners in the solar industry,” said Steve Newby, Chairman of Sunshine Solar and Managing Partner of Bravo. “The acquisition will greatly enhance Sunshine’s capabilities in utility scale mechanical installation and help us better serve our client’s needs.”

Sunshine Solar formed in 2016 and is on its way to becoming one of the largest mechanical solar installers in the country. The company assisted on 42 MW of solar projects throughout Tennessee and Georgia in 2019.
