Labella Associates acquires civil PV contractor Solar Ground-N-Pound

LaBella Associates, a multi-discipline design firm, has completed the acquisition of Solar Ground-N-Pound, a solar contractor headquartered in Hamlin, New York. Through the deal, LaBella adds niche solar civil, mechanical and construction capabilities to its full suite of professional services for the renewable energy industry.

Solar Ground-N-Pound was acquired by Labella Associates.

Solar Ground-N-Pound’s 22 employees will begin operating as LaBella immediately. Led by owner and president Matt Beres, who will assume the role of Solar Construction Manager at LaBella, the Solar Ground-N-Pound team focuses on readying the ground for solar panels, and constructing the mounting and installation of those panels. Solar Ground-N-Pound was ranked the No. 1 New York installer on Solar Power World’s Top Solar Contractors list.

The Solar Ground-N-Pound team will move from its operational headquarters in Hamlin to LaBella’s environmental contracting facilities in Rochester and Ballston Spa.
