Novasource acquires aerial solar inspections service Heliolytics

Solar operations and maintenance provider Novasource Power Services has acquired aerial inspections and site data provider Heliolytics.

“Our acquisition of Heliolytics creates enhanced economic value for customers by enabling high-fidelity issue detection, increasing asset energy yield. We are honored to join forces with the Heliolytics team,” said Troy Lauterbach, CEO of NovaSource Power Services.

Frequent collaborator Heliolytics has provided site inspection, site optimization and site analysis for more than 100 GW of solar projects worldwide. With the acquisition, Novasource aims to offer a suite of lifecycle services for renewables operations and maintenance.

NovaSource currently provides performance services to a portfolio of more than 18 GW renewable projects. Heliolytics, based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, will continue as a standalone entity and will retain the Heliolytics name, branding and personnel.
